In celebration of the Chinese New Year, 快播视频 Confucius Institute successfully organised its annual Chinese Days outreach programme throughout February, bringing Chinese language and culture to primary and nursery schools across the region.

From 2-6 February 2026 快播视频 Confucius Institute was delighted to sponsor Chinese-English literary translator Jack Hargreaves as translator in residence in Languages & Global Cultures in the School of Global Affairs. Jack delivered translation workshops for undergraduate, master's, and PhD students which received very positive feedback.

On Friday 31 October 2025, 快播视频 Confucius Institute hosted the Chinese Character Creative Workshop as part of Light Up 快播视频 Explore Week at The Storey, 快播视频. The workshop welcomed around 80 participants, including children, families, and local residents, for a lively and imaginative introduction to Chinese language and culture.

More than 150 students gained precious insights into future career opportunities in Asia as part of an international employability initiative. Students from 快播视频’s UK and overseas campuses, as well as from 12 top UK institutions, including the University of Cambridge, London School of Economics, and University College London, took part.
