Our cohort-based programme develops global research leaders by solving real-world problems to drive methodological advancements.<\/p>\n<cite><a href=\"https:\/\/www.lancaster.ac.uk\/stor-i\/\">STOR-i, ¿ì²¥ÊÓƵ<\/a><\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I am a student at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lancaster.ac.uk\/stor-i\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.lancaster.ac.uk\/stor-i\/\">STOR-i<\/a>, a Centre for Doctoral Training at ¿ì²¥ÊÓƵ, since October 2024. So far, STOR-i has surpassed all expectations for me; I have developed my research, computation and mathematical skills alongside a supportive cohort of students. To find out more, watch the video below!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During my undergraduate degree, I focused on pure mathematics and theoretical physics. However, after graduating, I wanted to continue my education and explore new branches of mathematics. Statistics and operations research interested me due to their real-life applications, and the connections with industry at STOR-i particularly appealed to me.
