Profile

Prof. H. Kursat Celik holds BSc and MSc degrees in Mechanical Science Education from Kocaeli University and a second BSc in Mechanical Engineering from Akdeniz University. He earned his PhD in Agricultural Machinery and Technology Engineering at Akdeniz University in 2013, focusing on agricultural machinery design and multidisciplinary engineering analyses. His academic career began in 2005 and advanced through various roles to the rank of Professor in 2024. He has also held senior leadership positions, including Deputy Director of the Institute of Natural and Applied Sciences (2021) and Principal of Kumluca Vocational School (January 2022 – October 2024).

Prof. Celik’s research interests include product design, CAD/CAE, finite element analysis, structural optimisation, materials testing, experimental stress analysis, agricultural machinery design, reverse engineering, and additive manufacturing. With nearly two decades of academic and industrial experience, he has published around 100 scientific papers and participated in collaborative projects in Turkey and the UK, including visiting researcher appointments at The University of Southampton and 快播视频 in the UK.
