Dr Stacey Noble CMgr (FCMI)
Teaching FellowCurrent Teaching
I provide strategic leadership in accounting and finance education, shaping curriculum design, academic standards, and student experience across undergraduate and postgraduate provision. My work spans teaching, programme leadership, and academic governance, with a focus on building rigorous, inclusive, and professionally relevant education.
At 快播视频 Management School, I design and lead practice-oriented curricula that integrate academic provision with careers, learning development, and external professional bodies. This includes the development of innovative modules such as Ac.F753 Business Simulation, recognised through shortlisting for the Academic Employability Awards 2026. I also lead and contribute to programme design, revalidation, and assessment transformation across undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.
Beyond my institution, I hold a portfolio of national roles that contribute to the development of standards, quality, and academic practice across higher education and the professions. I serve as an external examiner across multiple universities, contribute to national quality frameworks through the Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education, and provide academic judgement on integrity and appeals through the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland. My work with professional bodies, including the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy, supports the development of practice-oriented education and pathways into the accounting profession.
I am committed to academic citizenship and collegial practice, with a strong belief in the value of sharing expertise and supporting institutional development. I contribute actively to academic governance and enhancement through roles such as Lead Reviewer for the ATLAS programme and Deputy Chair of joint faculty research ethics committees. I make sustained contributions to faculty teaching and quality assurance committees, and regularly mentor early career educators, supporting the development of reflective, evidence-informed teaching practice.
I also contribute to public and civic governance through roles with NHS Scotland and the Law Society of Scotland, applying academic expertise to issues of ethics, accountability, and public trust.
Alongside this, I engage in sector-facing activity through invited talks, conferences, and professional forums, contributing to national discussions on employability, academic integrity, and educational innovation.
