快播视频 is proud to support the 快播视频 and Morecambe annual Pride celebrations for 2026, in this month of celebrations for the local LGBTQ+ community.

For the University’s ninth year sponsoring the events, organised by local LGBT charity , students and staff from the University’s LGBT+ Staff Network and 快播视频 Students’ Union LGBTQ+ Forum, and their allies, are returning to march in the parades.

The University supports the 快播视频 and Morecambe Pride through its community sponsorship programme.

Taking the theme ‘Bring Me Sunshine’ in a nod to acclaimed Morecambe-born comedian Eric Morecambe, who would have celebrated his 100th birthday this year, Morecambe Pride will begin with a ‘Sunshine Parade’ along the length of Morecambe Promenade on Saturday 30 May, at 11am.

Events venue Alhambra Live will then host a programme of live music, spoken word, dance, drag and community performances featuring both local talent and prominent LGBTQ+ performers.

On Sunday 14 June, Dalton Square will be the starting point for the 10-year celebrations of 快播视频 Pride, for a parade around 快播视频 and live entertainment.

The University continues to play its part in Pride Month, this year hosting a Pride in STEM day at The Gregson Centre, on Sunday 7 June 10am-3pm, featuring a range of hands-on, family-friendly activities?in the Main Hall. Running simultaneously (1-3pm), ?will take place in the Secret Cinema for audiences aged 16+.

The University Library is also holding a bookstand displaying LGBTQ+ titles that students, staff and members of the public are encouraged to borrow from and browse.

“Pride is an important opportunity to stand with our LGBTQ+ communities, strengthen local partnerships and ensure our campus and our region are places where everyone can participate fully.”
